Welcome to VAG

The Valley Artists Guild (VAG) is founded on the belief that when individual artists join together in creating their destinies, their growth and impact is multiplied in their own lives and throughout the world. With visual art exhibitions, ongoing education and creative interaction, we empower artists to fulfill their highest potential. For more background and the history of our organization, see About VAG.

Meetings & Workshops

VAG provides a variety of activities and educational programming to its members. Monthly meetings are held which feature exciting demonstrations or presentations by renowned artists and art professionals. Corresponding workshops may also be offered. These events give members the opportunity to meet, socialize and interact with fellow artists.

Our general meetings are held on Tuesday evening, 7–9pm, at the Encino Community Center, 4935 Balboa Blvd., Encino, CA, 91316. Our president discusses business news and is usually followed by a well-respected artist’s demonstration in various kinds of media. During the meeting there will be a refreshment break with snacks provided.

Non-members are always welcome to attend as guests, entrance fee for members is $7.00 and for non-members the fee is $8.00.

VAG members may bring their work in for a mini-show. During the break, the guest artist judges the mini-show and the meeting is wrapped up by giving out awards for the mini-show and if there is a raffle the winner will often get to take home a piece of art created and provided by the demonstrator guest artist.
