Juried exhibitions for members are held twice a year at VIVA Art Center in Sherman Oaks, CA. Selection and awards are determined by independent jurors outside the organization who hold prominent positions within the art community. In addition, Mini-Shows are held at each monthly meeting.

2009 Fall Exhibition
VIVA Art Center, Sherman Oaks, CA
The Valley Artists Guild Fall Exhibition for 2009 features a variety of media including sculpture.

The juror for this exhibition is Ramela Abbamontian. Ramela Grigorian Abbamontian is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Los Angeles Pierce College. She received her Ph.D. from UCLA in Modern Art with a minor in Armenian Studies. Her dissertation examined the visual construction of Diaspora identity by contemporary Armenian-American artists residing in Los Angeles. Additional research interests include Diaspora theory, Museum Studies, and public art. She was the recipient of the UCLA Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award. She curated the exhibition, “Man's Inhumanity to Man: Journey Out of Darkness” at the Brand Library Art Galleries for the City of Glendale (April 2009).
